Promoting Employment through ICT Qualification

The AFOS Foundation for Entrepreneurial Development Cooperation, founded by members of the Federation of Catholic Entrepreneurs (BKU), cooperates with Ghanaian universities and private sector institutions within the framework of a PartnerAfrica project. The objective of the partnership project is to increase the productivity and competitiveness of companies in Ghana by strengthening the ICT sector and to increase the employability of ICT specialists.

Project Target

The PartnerAfrica project aims to provide university students in Ghana with a demand-oriented and practical ICT qualification. By strengthening the capacity of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), the Accra Technical University (ATU) and the business association Institute of ICT Professionals, Ghana (IIPGH) , they are enabled to implement practice-oriented ICT training programs, job placement and entrepreneurship measures, and ICT advocacy.
