BMO Strengthening in the Energy Sector, India
The project between the German Solar Industry Association (BSW-Solar) and the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) aims to improve the conditions for companies to invest in renewable energies in India. To this end, the NSEFI is to be professionalised in its role as an interest group in order to be able to focus on the requirements of the growing, diversifying solar markets and to address problems in a targeted manner. In addition, the cooperation between BSW-Solar and NSEFI and the exchange between the members are to be specifically promoted. One of the thematic focal points will be rooftop solar systems.

The BBP aims to ensure that training and orientation measures offered by state training institutions provide trainees with skills that are relevant to the labor market and required by the private sector. In order to achieve this, 1) the qualification spectrum of the Cambodian vocational training system is to be expanded to include soft skills training, 2) trainers in DGTVET training centers and company training personnel from selected CAM-FEBA member companies are to be qualified for target group-oriented, action-centered training and 3) trainees and job seekers are to be provided with improved career counseling and job entry services.

Within the framework of the "Agency for Business and Economic Development" initiative by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), sequa is creating a training program on supply chain legislation. This program targets suppliers from developing and emerging countries, training them on the requirements of German and European supply chain legislation. Based on a practical approach, suppliers participate in virtual group sessions and individual coaching. By the end of the program, companies are expected to have received support in creating specific outputs, such as action plans. The aim of the project is to integrate suppliers into European supply chains and enable them to make a sustainable contribution to the socio-ecological development in their countries. The training program will be rolled out up to six times in different regions around the world.
