BMO Strengthening in the Energy Sector, India

The project between the German Solar Industry Association (BSW-Solar) and the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) aims to improve the conditions for companies to invest in renewable energies in India. To this end, the NSEFI is to be professionalised in its role as an interest group in order to be able to focus on the requirements of the growing, diversifying solar markets and to address problems in a targeted manner. In addition, the cooperation between BSW-Solar and NSEFI and the exchange between the members are to be specifically promoted. One of the thematic focal points will be rooftop solar systems.

BMO Partnership Project COMESA Multi Africa

In-depth training for suppliers

Within the framework of the "Agency for Business and Economic Development" initiative by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), sequa is creating a training program on supply chain legislation. This program targets suppliers from developing and emerging countries, training them on the requirements of German and European supply chain legislation. Based on a practical approach, suppliers participate in virtual group sessions and individual coaching. By the end of the program, companies are expected to have received support in creating specific outputs, such as action plans. The aim of the project is to integrate suppliers into European supply chains and enable them to make a sustainable contribution to the socio-ecological development in their countries. The training program will be rolled out up to six times in different regions around the world.

Biogas-Partnership Serbia

The 2nd phase of the chamber and association partnership project aims to strengthen the Serbian Biogas Association (SBA) as a self-sustaining and established organization. Joint DC Presentation at BIOFACH 2025

With the Sector Project Agriculture of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Import Promotion Desk (IPD), sequa is organizing a joint stand for German development cooperation at BIOFACH 2025 under the motto “Organic Sourcing for Development.” This platform enables certified organic exporters from partner countries to showcase their products and foster sustainable trade relations with European importers. The joint appearance increases the visibility of German development cooperation in the field of organic agriculture and food sectors while promoting economic growth and income generation for the exporting companies. In addition to the trade fair stand, sequa plans to host a thematic congress session on “Global Organic Farming: How the German Private Sector Benefits from Government Support in Developing Countries.”

Trade fair presence of African companies

As part of the GIZ program Project Development Mechanism of the Special Initiative for Decent Work for a Just Transition, sequa is implementing a project to promote exports for African companies in the agribusiness, food, and cosmetic ingredients sectors. The project's aim is to strengthen trade relations between Africa and Europe and support African companies from Egypt, Ethiopia, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Morocco, Rwanda, and Senegal in placing their products successfully in European markets. The project offers targeted preparation workshops and individual coaching for companies participating in international trade fairs and virtual matchmaking. Support includes participation in 4–6 European trade fairs, such as Food Ingredients Europe 2024, in-cosmetics 2025, Fruit Logistica 2025, and ISM 2025. Additionally, B2B meetings with potential European buyers are organized. In virtual and physical matchmaking events, companies are connected with European importers to facilitate negotiations for new business opportunities. A targeted follow-up after the matchmaking appointments ensures that the companies are optimally prepared for their export activities.
