The Fachverband Biogas e.V. (FvB) will support the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine (UABIO) as part of a Business Membership Organisation Partnership (KVP). Due to the war in Ukraine, the project is taking place under difficult conditions for the Ukrainian project partner. Nevertheless, over the three years of the project, the partners will work on strengthening UABIO's structures, setting up lobbying activities more strategically and organising and developing professional events and services for members. The aim of the project, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as part of Partners in Transformation, is to further develop the Ukrainian association. And the FvB is also helping to strengthen the renewable energy sector in Ukraine.
In the week from 11 to 15 March 2024, a UABIO employee visited the FvB in Freising for her first working visit. She gained an insight into the work of the FvB and planned the next activities with the project team.
