In cooperation with Don Bosco Boys Town (DBBT) in Kenya, the Bildungswerk der Baden-Württembergischen Wirtschaft e.V. (BiWe) has modernised the curricula for the welding and masonry trades in a vocational training partnership (BBP) funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as part of "Partners in Transformation", thereby successfully creating a more practice-oriented training programme at DBBT.

In a promotional video, which aims to convince potential future female and male trainees to enroll in one of the skilled crafts trades, current participants in the welding and masonry courses talk about how they envisage their professional future in the construction sector and what opportunities the new form of training at DBBT offers them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_VtJBSaJQs.
