The PartnerAfrica project of bbw, EBDA and SEKEM is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The aim is to strengthen women and girls in their professional opportunities and their participation in the labour market in rural Egypt. To this end, skills-based vocational orientation and job placement programs are planned specifically for this target group. In addition, the project partners are working with cooperation partners to improve health insurance and healthcare options for women and to implement new instruments for the organisational development of women.

Egypt: Empowering women and girls
Since January 2025, the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw) gGmbH, together with the Egyptian Bio-Dynamic Association (EBDA) and the SEKEM Development Foundation (SDF), has been implementing a partner Africa project as part of the special initiative “Good Employment for Socially Just Change” to empower women and girls in rural Egypt.
