The Ausbildungsverbund Teltow (AVT) has been involved in a Vocational Training Partnership in Cambodia since 2021. The first phase ended in October 2024. Just before the start of the second phase, the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Svenja Schulze visited the German project partner AVT in Teltow. Local partners on the Cambodian side in the second phase will remain the governmental partner DGTVET as well as the leading employers' association CAMFEBA and the National Employment Agency (NEA). Activities include anchoring soft skills training modules in the initial and further training system of Cambodia  and strengthening the public-private dialogue with regards to vocational training in the automotive and electrical engineering sectors. In cooperation with NEA the VET project aims at improving the provision of advisory services for potential VET students on vocational training opportunities.
